ThredUp Review

My friend, Avery, told me about this neat site called ThredUP. They are an online store that works like a consignment store, only simpler. They buy your gently used/like new clothes, and then they sell them in their online store. They buy/sell women's clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories, they also sell maternity clothing and even kids clothing! I haven't sold to them yet, so I can't speak for that, but it sounds like they pay a fair payment and you can either cash out via paypal of you can use the credit to buy some new-to-you clothes from their site!

I'm hoping that they will add men's clothing soon, that way I can save on clothes for the husband too!
A few constructive critiques, it would be nice if they would label the items and in a little more detail. For instance, some of the photos make it hard to read the actual color of the item, if they would label the color that would help, and it would also make the search feature more relevant. There are so many items on the site (which is awesome!!) it would be nice if the search feature could be more accurate, via more detailed labels.

Needless to say, I am addicted!
Since Avery told me about the site, I have already placed 2 orders!! Shh, don't tell my husband ;) They post new items literally every second!
And, free shipping if you spend over $50!
These are a few of the beauties that are waiting in my cart right now!:

Of course I'm always on the lookout for adorable clothes for Little Man as well!

Be on the lookout for lots of what we wore posts containing thredup items! :)

What We Wore {Family Photos}

I know sometimes it's hard to coordinate everyone's outfits for photos, so I thought I'd do a post on what my family wore for our Spring Family photos :-)

I realize that we are a small family of 3, so it might be a little bit easier to dress us in coordinating clothes. But maybe you could take the idea and just expand on it?

For example:
If we had a little girl:
I'd dress her in a shade of pink dress

Like this little number would be perfect!:

Or this for a toddler girl:

Or maybe even this!:
(can you tell I love shopping, especially for cute girl clothes! :-))

And I'd pair those dresses with some cute tan sandals or cream flats.
And a teal or denim hair bow :)

And if we had another boy.
I'd dress him in khaki shorts and a shade of green, blue, teal or denim polo.
Like this:

With these shorts:
And probably pair these with tan/cream canvas slip on shoes

I'd just try to stick to the pink/mint/denim/cream color combo :-)
