Newlie Co Diaper Bags (and coupon code!)
Mama's, have you heard of Newlie Co?
I just discovered this diaper bag and accessory making company and oh.my.word.
Talk about holy cuteness batman!
Their diaper bags look like chic, big purses, but when you open them up, it reveals lots of diaper bag necessary organizing pouches!
So, I ordered one...shh, don't tell the hubs
(by the way, keep an eye out for beautiful photos once it arrives!!)
and I got this code for y'all to save 10%!
I mean, we carry these things around for years!
Sometimes even after the kids are out of diapers.
Just because we still need all of the space and pouches!
For snacks, change of clothes, toys, coupons, sunglasses, wallet, keys, etc!!
I'm not gonna lie, every time I go into Target and see a cute purse, I just look away. Because my purse carrying days are gone for now.
I'm not sad about it, I love my babies, BUT how excited I was to find Newlie Co and their glamorous diaper bag purses!
Now we don't have to give up everything that's cute
Here's the link if you're interested in shopping their site and savings the 10%
Tell me, which purse would you pick and why?
Can you guess which one I bought? ;)

Stained Concrete Patio
My mother-in-law was debating between tiling her back patio, or staining the concrete, she was really leaning towards tiling. But we were able to talk her out of it and tell her how staining is really the better choice. With tile, especially outside on your patio, you run a high risk of it cracking. From the grandchildren playing too roughly, or (and most likely) the ground shifting and settling. With the stain, if a crack does occur it won't be as noticeable as it would be with tile, but it's also a lot simpler to fix.
So my husband spent this past weekend staining my mother-in-law's back patio.
It took him about 3 days, due to waiting on drying times.
Day 1, he prepped and cleaned the concrete with Muriatic Acid,
It took him about 3 days, due to waiting on drying times.
Day 1, he prepped and cleaned the concrete with Muriatic Acid,
Day 2, he put down the tape for the "grout" lines, and applied the stain, and
Day 3 he pulled up the tape and applied the sealer!!
It really was not hard at all! And he did a beautiful job!!
We used Valspar's Semi-Transparent, Exterior stain in "Vaquero Brown"
We used Beneath my Heart's patio makeover as a reference

I don't really do the social media day's of the week thing:
#MCM (man crush Monday)
#TransformationTuesday
#WCW (woman crush Wednesday)
#TBT (throwback Thursday) or
#FBF (flashback Friday)
But today, I thought I'd give it a try ;)
So since it's Friday, let's do a #FBF #Flashbackfriday
This is an older outfit post, back from my Sweet Southern Souls days. Can you tell? :)
I've come a long way in just a short 5 months, huh!?!
But, I thought I'd refresh and re-post it here on Chic Little Mommy.

What I Wore {Maroon Blouse}
I just love this little maroon blouse, it's so light and airy! Perfect summer time blouse.
One of my favorite things about it, it's super light weight, but not see through!
Score! Seriously I have the hardest time finding thin blouses (to combat this crazy Texas summer heat!!) that are not see through! Because if I have to layer up my shirts, what's the point in wearing a thin/light weight blouse? Am I right? So I absolutely love that this shirt is thin and not see through!
This outfit post was again taken in the cutest little town square in Indiana! I just couldn't get enough of it! They had some adorable little shops and the best places to take photos!
